Though relatively young as a service, Wyzant has grown quickly. Despite being nearly 100% automated, they do have several innovations that improve how automated services should conduct business. Of note is publishing unplaced students, to attract new applicants. The only issues are with their abuse of the word "certification," where all a tutor must do is pass a 10 question subject quiz to be certified, and poor customer service. It is difficult to speak to a live person and when you do you do not get much help. Turn over rate is high among customer service representatives. If you wish to speak to corporate they refuse and block your phone number.
